ADULTS

Classes are designed and catered to all individual needs in a group environment.

There are two levels in the adult programme.

Levels

Level 1

Adult level 1 is the first of two adult classes on offer. Adult classes have a student to instructor ratio of 5:1 and are either based in either the learn to swim pool or lap pool depending on confidence and preference. These run for 30 minutes. Adult level 1 classes are an introductory level for adults with focuses on water confidence and comfortability. These classes look at learning to float front and back, body position, kicking, and basic swimming strokes. Adult classes have flexibility, and we work with you to create a programme that caters for your personal goals.

Level 2

Adult level 2 is the second of two adult classes on offer. Adult classes have a student to instructor ratio of 5:1 and are either based in either the learn to swim pool or lap pool depending on confidence and preference. These run for 30 minutes. Adult level 2 classes have a higher focus on swimming and technique. These classes look at breathing skills and the breakdown of each stroke. Adult classes have flexibility, and we work with you to create a programme that caters for your personal goals.
