Babies and Toddlers: 

• Guardian/ Parent participation
• Togs for both child and adult in the water
• Swimmer nappies for the toddler (found at the supermarket or ask at reception)
• Towels
• Change of clothing for afterwards
• Snack and drink for afterwards
• Goggles (ideally from Frogs level)

Ages 3+

• Swimming caps are compulsory for swimmers 3 years + (we have options at reception) 
• Swimming Togs (recommend snug sitting togs and advise against rash tops and baggy board shorts as it does hinder swimming progress)
• Goggles (compulsory)
• Towels
• Water bottle

If you need to bring your pushchair into the facility we ask that you park them away from the entries and exits allowing people to pass easily

We do not recommend eating within 30 minutes of lessons to reduce risk of tummy cramps and upsets.  We do recommend having a snack available for your littles ones after class. Babies and tots: please avoid feeding within an hour of lessons to reduce spill

All swimmers waiting for their swimming lessons will need to wait until an instructor has asked them to enter the water. All instructors will show/explain all safe entries and exits into the pool

HBRAC runs on a monthly perpetual model. What this means is you will be booked into the same weekly class. This will remain the same until you change your classes, swimmers progress into the next level or if you drop the lessons. When you do progress into the next level you will need to change your booking and this may change your time/day/instructor due to availability

If you are unable to attend your lesson, please notify us either via  Customer Portal, email, leave a message or reception as soon as possible

-HBRAC has a flexible make-up policy for any reason you cannot attend your lessons

-You must record your absence via the customer portal or through reception 60 minutes before your lesson time

-You will be issued with a token within 48 hours after your lesson has taken place

-All make-up tokens will be issued through the customer portal. All make-up tokens will expire one month from missed lessons. If you have any issues or concerns in this matter please do contact us

-Make-up tokens can only be booked if you have no outstanding fees on your account and you are currently booked in with HBRAC for swimming lessons

-Make-up lessons can only be arranged 1 week in advance via our customer portal

-Once a make-up class has been booked it cannot be changed. If you need to cancel your booked make-up class you will have to forfeit the token if you do not attend the class

-We cannot guarantee your preferred times/day/ instructors when booking make-up lessons

-HBRAC will honor all make-up bookings, however HBRAC might from time to time have to change some bookings due to health and safety

All swimmers will be assessed continuously by their instructor or pool deck supervisor to see when they will be ready to progress into the next level. You will be notified by email or instructor/ pool deck or customer portal when you have progressed into the next level. New classes can be booked in immediately
